Michael Parenti (September 30, 1933 – January 24, 2026) is among the nation’s best informed progressive speakers. He received his Ph.D. in political science from Yale University in 1962 and has taught at colleges in the US and abroad. He lectured around the country discussing the problems of Americans and their democracy, US foreign policy, and the invented realities of the media.
His books include The Face of Imperialism, God and His Demons, Against Empire, History as Mystery, Superpatriotism, The Culture Struggle and the Assassination of Julius Caesar.
