George Galloway – Viva Palestina – Breaking The Siege Of Gaza
George Galloway is an outspoken Member of the British Parliament, serving since 1987. He is perhaps best known for his support of Palestine and his campaign to end economic sanctions against Iraq. When he stood up to Tony Blair and called the invasion of Iraq illegal he was expelled from the Labour Party.
After participating in daily demonstrations in England during the Israeli assault on Gaza from the end of December 2008 into January 2009, Galloway led a convoy of vehicles loaded with humanitarian aid to Gaza.
